CLASS TYPES
FLOW CLASSES
Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga Yoga is a strong and flowing style practice. It involves synchronizing the breath with progressive and continuous postures, which produces internal heat while detoxifying the body. It builds strength, flexibility, and stamina, while calming the mind and improving overall health.
We offer three phases of the Ashtanga Yoga practice at our studios:
Ashtanga Basics
Ashtanga Half Primary Series
Ashtanga Full Primary Series
Note: If you are new to the Ashtanga practice, please make sure to attend the Ashtanga Basics class first.
Detox Flow
This class detoxes the body on a physical, emotional and spiritual level.
Postures will mostly involve twists and some inversions. Twists help remove particles trapped in the colon and improve digestion, whilst inversions transport new blood to the liver and kidneys.
A great importance is also placed on proper breathing as it eliminates toxins from the body. As a result we will increase blood circulation, stimulate the lymphatic system and help the human system work optimally with cleansing effects.
Gentle Flow
This is an all levels gentle flow to decompress, de-stress and FEEL GOOD!
Heart Opening Flow
Connect with your heart space by following this fluid sequence. This heart-expanding flow will loosen up your body and open your chest and back.
Your breathing patterns will be enhanced and deepened as a result, and mental stress and anxiety will also be reduced.
Power Vinyasa
Challenge yourself with this powerful class. You never know what you are capable of until you try!
Come flow dynamically with us. Multiple levels are welcome but having some yoga experience is suggested.
Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, linking your breath with your movement. Commonly referred to as a “flow”.
The Sanskrit word Vinyasa comes from a prefix “vi”, which means “variation”, and a suffix, “nyasa”, which means “within prescribed parameters.” As a philosophy, Vinyasa recognizes the temporary nature of things. We enter into a posture, are there for a while, and then leave.
Vinyasa Yoga is referred to a series, or sequence of steps, to make something sacred.
Slow Flow Up
A sequence of asanas with a predominance of ascending energies, aimed at stretching and strengthening the deep joint muscles, as well as general tonal uplifting.
Slow Flow Down
A sequence of asanas with a predominance of descending energies, aimed at relieving stress, releasing body stiffness and strengthening the nervous system.
Traditional Vinyasa Yoga
This ancient traditional vinyasa yoga practice is where your body, mind and energy coordinate with postures. In this class we focus deeply on coordination to sync your awareness and breath with a nice flow of sequences.
You will feel calm, relaxed and open after this traditional vinyasa yoga class.
HATHA CLASSES
Hatha Yoga
Hatha means ‘force’ and is more traditionally defined as ‘the yoga of force’. This class involves a set of physical postures and sometimes breathing techniques.
Hatha Yoga is typically practiced at a more steady pace and with more static posture holds compared to a Flow style class.
Stretch & Strengthen
Feeling stressed and tight from the hustle and bustle of the city? This class promises to leave you feeling lighter giving your muscles time to stretch out and recover.
Give yourself some well-deserved ‘me time’ and enjoy a flowing sequence of stretches and movement to music to heal the mind, body and soul.
Traditional Hatha Yoga
The ancient Indian lineage of yoga was a proper disciplinary practice designed to keep the mind steadfast and focused. A focused mind and sharpened intellect creates discipline and enhances physical, mental and spiritual growth.
This Hatha Yoga class is a no-nonsense, traditional style and disciplined practice taught in the same way as yogis from India.
Dharma Yoga
Dharma Yoga is a graceful, accessible yet challenging form of yoga created and shared by renowned yoga teacher Sri Dharma Mittra.
This practice has roots in all nine forms of yoga with an emphasis on Yama and Niyama (ethical guidelines).
It is a devotional practice that focuses on good health, a clear mind and a kind heart. By moving through different series of postures, we are encouraged to go within and to go deeper into our practice in a meditative and spiritual way.
This lineage of yoga weaves together many teachings in order to bring everyone closer to the goal of self-realization.
All levels are welcome but having some yoga experience is suggested.
Happy Hips
The hip is a storage ground for negative feelings, especially ones related to control in our lives. Flexibility and strength in the hips allow us to express ourselves freely—creatively, physically, and spiritually.
With movements that are specifically targeted at the hip musculature, this class combines mobility, strengthening, passive stretching, and other techniques to help you move and live more freely and energetically.
This targeted sequence helps firm the hips and tone the legs. This will reduce back pain, increase circulation and range of motion.
RECOVERY CLASSES
Yin Yang
The Taoists hold the theory that there is a polarity of two energies that are ultimately inseparable - Yin and Yang.
In this class, the Yang part focuses on breathing and continuous physical movement to create heat, energy and strength. The Yin part focuses more on softening the muscles, sinking deeply into each asana, reaching deep within the tissues of the body. This class sometimes incorporates Yoga and Buddhist philosophy together with mindfulness throughout asana practice.
Moving and breathing with mindful awareness. Allow yourselves to fully surrender, contemplate and meditate in each asana. Leave the mat with an integrated harmony between body, mind and spirit. Guiding us to practice yoga off the mat.
Yin Yoga
Yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones.
In this class you will turn inward and connect deeply with the sensations of your body and mind.
Because we will be holding poses for a longer period of time than one would in other types of yoga classes, yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues whilst also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.
Neck & Back Care
In this class you will practice a sequence of yoga postures to improve flexibility and ease tension in the neck and back specifically. You will also work on strengthening the back and core muscles.
This class ultimately encourages you to regain proper posture, preventing and resolving back problems while improving spinal health.
Suitable for office workers with long hours sitting and those who suffer from chronic neck and lower back pain.

Deep Stretch
This class allows us to get into the deeper layers of our body, utilizing our nervous system to loosen up our muscles, tendons, ligaments, connective tissue and fascia.
By going deep into these layers, the body becomes light and free, which means energy can flow freely. This class is perfect for recovery and developing flexibility through a mix of active and/or passive stretches.
Gentle assists with added resistance to go deeper in the poses are given from time to time.
Therapeutic Stretch
For centuries people have turned to therapeutic stretching as a way to de-stress.
Therapeutic Stretching focuses on a rehabilitation approach to common musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. It is also used to simply relax and feel good!
Benefits include, reduced anxiety, easing of muscle tension, improving sleep quality, muscle and joint relief, a natural antidepressant amongst many others.
Relaxing Stretch
Come and release all that tension after a hard day’s work! We’re pretty sure you’ll get a good nights sleep after taking this relaxing stretch class.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga resets your nervous system, allowing the body to relax naturally in its own time. There are not many poses in this class and use of multiple props is essential to the practice in order to make you feel comfortable and at ease. The different supported restorative poses slows down the physical and mental bodies.
This class is sometimes coupled with the sacred sounds of Crystal Singing Bowls, which is a great way to promote healing frequencies in your body, mind and emotions. The sounds will vibrate through every cell in your body releasing blockages and restoring balance.
It is also sometimes class paired with a Yoga Nidra savasana, going into an in-between state of being awake and falling asleep. Floating on the border of our conscious mind and subconscious mind. Experiencing complete relaxation with total awareness.
Joints Therapy
This class explores poses and techniques that help with joint health and flexibility.
Joint mobilization and manipulation involves both slow and gentle techniques as well as intense, accurate and quick movements to reduce joint pain and increase mobility.
SPECIALTY CLASSES
Aerial Yoga
Aerial yoga uses a hammock to perform postures that one may not ordinarily be able to attempt on the yoga mat. It combines traditional yoga with movements inspired by pilates, dance and acrobatics.
The weight of your body will be supported by a hammock, meaning that you will be suspended in the air at times.
Aerial yoga is particularly beneficial for students who spend a long time sitting, or who have back pain, because the hammocks have a decompressing effect on the body. It is a great option for both beginners and experienced yoga practitioners.
Yoga Wheel
The Yoga Wheel is specifically designed to match the contour of the spine. It helps with chest opening, back bending, balancing, strengthening and flexibility for the entire lower back and torso. It also helps develop concentration and inner mental balance.
The series of postures you will practice will be enhanced by the use of a Yoga Wheel. Appropriate variations will be given for different individuals' capabilities.
After this class you will feel more open than ever before!
Inversions
Sometimes we have to let life turn us upside down, so we can learn how to live, right side up.
This class will focus on warming up our upper body properly and strengthening our shoulders and core to get a strong foundation before going upside down with the wall and performing arm balance poses.
Yoga For Women
